About Robin
An artist with a good eye for what has a story in it.
Robin is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves freely between moccasins, crochet, sculpture, jewellery, dreamcatchers, puppets, costumes and found materials.
Her creative process is intuitive and spontaneous. Ideas often begin with a material, a person, a place or an unexpected object and develop naturally from there. The result is handmade work that is imaginative, carefully crafted and often completely one of a kind.
Robin brings the same sense of curiosity and originality to everything she makes, combining skilled handwork with an instinct for colour, texture, form and story. Stones, shells, leather, fibre, beads and found treasures can all become part of something new.
Commissions are an important part of Robin’s work, giving her the opportunity to create pieces shaped specifically around the person, purpose and story behind them.
